TLC is proposing to REVOKE the license for 3 cell phone summonses in 18 months.  NYS private car motorists will have more leniency than professional taxicab drivers.  Cell phone is our life line.  Drivers & FAMILIES needed at the hearing!  Stop TLC’s cruel & irresponsible proposal!

Stop Lease Cap Overcharges
  • Report Lease Rates: Help NYTWA keep track of all lease rates.  Call us at 212-627-5248 with your lease amount now.
  • Report Overcharges: If you are being charged up to the daily caps for a weekly shift, or any other fee (such as a tax, dispatcher bribe, mechanic ‘tip’, etc.) above the lease cap
  • Report Other Rule Violations: If you are not getting your credit card reimbursements, or an itemized receipt, or a copy of your lease agreement, file a complaint now.  Remember, NYTWA can file on your behalf.
  • Organize at Your Garage/Brokerage: NYTWA is planning demonstrations and pickets outside of the worst garage/broker violators.  Sign-up fellow drivers for actions and the union membership.
